Workspace

← Back to Documentation Index

The Workspace (sidebar > Workspace, or press G then W) is your operational cockpit. It surfaces gaps, flags items needing attention, and provides tools for bulk curation tasks.

The workspace has three tabs. Press 1 through 3 to switch between them.

Review Queue

Press <kbd>1</kbd> from the workspace.

The Review Queue surfaces gaps in your data — events lacking evidence, claims with low confidence, entities not connected to anything, and claims whose status may be stale.

Summary Cards

At the top of the queue, four stat cards show the current counts:

CardWhat It CountsColor
Events without claimsEvents that have zero claims attachedAmber
Low confidence claimsClaims with confidence below 0.5Orange
Orphan entitiesEntities not linked to any eventGray
Pending status reviewClaims flagged for review — stale status or source-verification detected content changesBlue

Each card shows the current count as a large number. Clicking does nothing — the cards are informational.

Events Without Claims

This section lists events that have no claims attached. Each item shows:

  • Event title
  • Event description (if available)
  • Event status badge
  • Arrow link to the event's detail page

To resolve: Click the arrow to navigate to the event detail page and add a claim with a source.

Empty state: "No events without claims — all events have at least one claim"

Low Confidence Claims

Claims with confidence below 0.5 (50%). Each item shows:

  • Claim text
  • Parent event title
  • Confidence score (e.g., "0.35")
  • Arrow link to the event

Click any claim to open the Claim Review dialog where you can adjust the confidence score and status.

To resolve: Review the claim, gather additional sources, and either raise the confidence or mark it as unverifiable.

Empty state: "No low confidence claims — all claims have acceptable confidence"

Orphan Entities

Entities not linked to any event. Each item shows:

  • Entity canonical name
  • Aliases (if any)
  • "no events" badge
  • Arrow link to the entity detail page

To resolve: Link the entity to an event it participated in, or delete it if created in error.

Empty state: "No orphan entities — all entities are linked to at least one event"

Pending Status Review

Claims that may need their status updated based on current evidence. This includes:

  • Stale claims: Claims with reported or verifiable status that have been unattended for 30+ days.
  • Verification-flagged claims: Claims where source verification detected a change (needs_review = true). The source text backing the claim no longer matches the current article.

Each item shows:

  • Claim text
  • Parent event title
  • Current claim status badge (blue)
  • Arrow link to the event

Claims flagged by verification show an additional amber "needs review" badge.

Click any claim to open the Claim Review dialog.

To resolve: Review the claim, update the status if warranted (e.g., from reported to verifiable or fact). For verification-flagged claims: examine the source, determine if the claim should be retracted or confirmed, and update accordingly.

Empty state: "No claims pending status review"

Reconciliation

Press <kbd>2</kbd> from the workspace.

The Reconciliation tab is a placeholder for future entity deduplication functionality.

Current state: A card with:

  • "Entity Resolution" title
  • Description: "Find and merge duplicate entities, resolve identity conflicts"
  • A Scan for Duplicates button (not yet functional)

Activity Feed

Press <kbd>3</kbd> from the workspace.

The Activity Feed shows recent activity across your account — who created, updated, or deleted what, and when.

Layout

Activity is grouped by time period:

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • This week
  • Older

Each activity item shows:

  • Type icon and color:

- Blue calendar — Event
- Purple message — Claim

- Emerald person — Entity

- Amber document — Source

  • Title — The name of the created/modified object
  • Created by — Who made the change
  • Type label — event, claim, entity, or source
  • Relative timestamp — "just now", "5m ago", "2h ago", "yesterday", "3d ago"

Click any item to navigate to its detail page.

Empty state: "No recent activity — activity from events, claims, entities, and sources will appear here"
