Canonical Timeline does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, reliability, or conclusions of user-generated content.
Nothing on the Service constitutes legal advice, professional advice, or factual certification.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account.

You may not transfer or sell your account without our written permission.
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription.
Subscription fees are charged through Stripe.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
Unless required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable notice before future renewals.

You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant Canonical Timeline LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, securing, and providing the Service.
This license ends when your content is permanently removed from our active systems, except where retention is necessary for backups, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of these Terms.

The Service, including its software, source code, user interface, branding, graphics, logos, documentation, and original content created by Canonical Timeline LLC, is protected by intellectual property laws.
Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any portion of the Service.
The name "Canonical Timeline" and associated branding are the property of Canonical Timeline LLC.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
If you choose to make content publicly available through the Service, you understand that it may be viewed, referenced, and shared by other users.
Canonical Timeline does not guarantee that publicly shared content will remain private.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANONICAL TIMELINE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR CONTINUOUSLY AVAILABLE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANONICAL TIMELINE LLC, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
